Our first project as a charity has been to give 32 parent packs to those on NICU over Christmas this year.
Since my daughter was in NICU we’ve made these packs for Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s day and it’s now come under the charity. The packs are filled with a few treats, a coffee shop voucher and some nice smellies. We just want to bring a smile in a difficult time and to let those parents know we are thinking of them.
We’ve had lots of feedback about how much this lifted a parent’s mood and made them feel less isolated – totally worth it!
We want to do a lot more at LAMBS but this is one of our ongoing projects that will continue for years to come.
